" Daffy-down-dilly. Has come to town. With a yellow petticoat. And a pretty green gown."
Every Spring since the beginning of my memory when I see the first daffodils of Spring that short poem comes to my mind. It has become a tradition in my family and just this morning I texted it (communication these days) to my four daughters. It brings us all fond memories and signals the hope of new life, color and the beauty of a new season.
We have all weathered the storm from the past 12 months of a new way of life, and we are all hopeful that this Spring continues to move in a positive direction! Our school community has certainly proven their resilience, and we are gaining back lost time and doing our best to support one another through what is now a year-long Pandemic. We are proud of all that the students have accomplished and a hopeful for a productive Spring!
Here are some great suggestions for parents to try at home if you are searching for support for your children if they are showing frustration and duress with learning. Having a positive and healthy growth mindset can make all the difference in the world!
